What tone of voice would you like to adopt in your website copy? For example, would you like your copy to sound casual or professional? Don't over think this! Just tick the first five that spring to mind for your business: Formal Funny/witty Empathetic Serious Authoritative Charming Polite Approachable Charismatic Informative Direct Cheery Confident Matter of fact Playful Respectful Who is your current or future client-base? i.e. stay at home mums, busy professionals, car enthusiasts, high-net-worth’s, investors, students Who is your ideal client? What clients do you want more of? What is the purpose of your website? For example, is it a brochure website, or are you looking for visitors to take a specific action? Is there anything in particular you would like to include in your website copy? For example, a personal story, your company values, business history and/or previous clients. Who are your competitors? And what sets you apart from them? What is good copy to you? Do you want lengthy sentences that make you seem like an expert in your field? Do you want short, punchy sentences that get straight to the point? What pains do your customers have?
